Is LKprototype a manufacturer or a sourcing company?

LKprototype presents its manufacturing facilities in Dongguan, China, including CNC machining and silicone vacuum casting workshops. You can explore the factory tour and ask the team which operations would be used for your specific project.

Which process should I use for my prototype?

Start with the purpose of the part. CNC machining is a useful option for functional parts in a specified material; vacuum casting supports small batches of urethane parts; 3D printing can suit early geometry and fit checks. We review the design, material and quantity before recommending a route.

Can I contact you without a CAD file?

Yes. Describe what you want to make, the intended use and the approximate quantity. A drawing or 3D model will usually be needed to confirm manufacturability, tolerances and an accurate quotation.

What should I include in a quotation request?

Include a 3D CAD file and a 2D drawing for critical dimensions where available, plus material, quantity, finish, intended use and delivery destination. The current online quote page accepts files up to 15 MB; contact the team for larger files.

How much will my prototype cost, and how long will it take?

Price and lead time depend on geometry, material, process, quantity, finishing and inspection requirements. Ask for a project-specific quotation. Manufacturing time, shipping time and the required arrival date should be confirmed separately.

Can we sign an NDA before sending drawings?

Yes. Request an NDA before sharing confidential files, and discuss the agreement with our team. Use the inquiry form below to indicate that you need an NDA first.

Can you provide inspection reports?

Dimensional inspection reports are available on request. Identify critical dimensions and any documentation requirements when requesting your quote so they can be included in the agreed scope.
